Cyberchase: Mission Motherboard is a modern HTML5 remake of a classic Flash game originally developed over 15 years ago, based on the educational TV series Cyberchase. With the original no longer accessible due to the discontinuation of Flash, our goal was to faithfully restore and enhance the experience for today’s web and mobile platforms.

I played a key role in porting and revitalising the game. Leveraging my deep knowledge of Flash animation, I extracted and adapted the original artwork, transitioning it into Spine, an animation tool that was new to me at the time. This shift not only preserved the spirit of the original game but also gave us the opportunity to improve animation quality and significantly boost performance for modern devices.

This project exemplifies thoughtful preservation of legacy content while embracing updated technology to make it accessible to a new generation of players.
