Type: Prototype
Role: 3D Artist / Animator / Developer
Engine: Unity
Tools: ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter

OVO: Planet Engineer is a prototype for a 3D exploration and learning game where players control OVO, a curious alien owl sent to polluted planets to clean up trash and rescue trapped inhabitants. The game combines open-world exploration, environmental storytelling, and basic programming logic to create a playful but meaningful experience for players of all ages.

The core gameplay loop centres around collecting trash, building robots, and programming them to assist with the cleanup effort. As the player’s robot army grows, they can automate tasks and solve increasingly complex cleanup challenges. The game introduces foundational coding concepts through intuitive, in-game systems—teaching logic, sequencing, and problem-solving in an engaging and non-technical way.

OVO: Planet Engineer explores the intersection of education, creativity, and environmental themes, aiming to empower players with both programming skills and a sense of responsibility toward their digital (and real) environments.
