Marvel Super Hero Squad is a colourful 3D arena fighter and puzzle-adventure game based on the popular Marvel Super Hero Squad toy line and animated series. Designed for up to four players, it features super-deformed, cartoon-style versions of iconic Marvel characters like Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor, and Hulk. The game offers both chaotic multiplayer arena battles and a single-player campaign filled with puzzle-solving and action-platforming gameplay.

My responsibilities included character rigging and animation, bringing to life a broad roster of stylised Marvel heroes and villains across various gameplay modes and cutscenes. Collaborating closely with the design and art teams, I helped ensure the characters retained their unique personalities and exaggerated proportions while staying performant on PS2 and Wii hardware.

Features:

20+ playable Marvel characters in stylised, super-deformed form

Couch co-op for up to 4 players in dynamic arena battles

Single-player story campaign with puzzle-based exploration

Whimsical tone and all-ages accessibility

Released on PS2, Wii
